Are you insured?
Yes. We have public liability insurance to £2 million. Wherever we use sub-contractors, we also rigorously check that they have similar levels of insurance cover.
What qualifications do you have?
All employees and sub-contractors are qualified to the highest standards in their field of expertise. Our team is qualified in the installation and servicing of plumbing, heating, heat pumps, unvented hot water systems, Legionnaires testing, water regs and more. We are OFTEC-registered oil engineered and Part L qualified, while several of our team members hold City & Guilds qualifications or are NICEIC certified. Here at Good Will Plumbing, we always aim to continually improve our technical ability and knowledge through ongoing training, in order to offer you the customer the very best service possible.
How much will the work cost?
We have a transparent pricing plan, which we’re happy to discuss with you over the phone or in person. We’ll describe the work that needs to be done, give you an accurate quote or estimate, then keep you informed at all times of the progress of the work. If any changes are required from our initial quote, we’ll always discuss this with you first.
Can you do other work such as joinery or electrics?
We’re experts in plumbing and heating, and so we ourselves don’t try to be a ‘jack of all trades’. However, we can arrange and source highly skilled and competent tradesmen for all electrical, carpentry and general building work required by our customers, which helps reduce the burden on you and gives you the reassurance of receiving the highest standards of craftsmanship in every area of a project.
Do you ever sub-contract work?
Sometimes it’s necessary for us to sub-contract work out to other expert tradesmen, usually if you require work that doesn’t squarely fall within our areas of expertise. Wherever this is the case, we will tell you about it and will rigorously vet any sub-contractors we use to ensure they keep to the same high standards that our customers expect from us.
Do you offer an emergency call-out service?
Yes. You can contact us at any time, day or night, for all your plumbing and heating emergencies. Simply call 07795 808885 and we will be happy to help.
Will you treat my home with respect?
Absolutely. We know it can be uncomfortable and worrying when you have tradesmen working in your home, and this means it’s our priority to help every customer feel that they are their home are well respected by all our staff. Our expert tradesmen will be punctual, polite and care for your home as if it was their own.
Do I have to be at home while you’re carrying out the work?
Not if you don’t want to be. We can make arrangements with you to gain access and lock up again safely and securely. Our aim is to minimise inconvenience to you, and you can also be sure we’ll look after your home while we’re in it.
What happens if I’m not happy with something?
This rarely happens, as our craftsmanship and customer service are second to none, but in the unlikely event that you’re not happy with something, please do tell us. We will always aim to address any issues and put things right as quickly as possible.
